Action research is a component of reflective practice and professional learning grounded in an ethical commitment to improve practice and actualize educational
values. This course will involve Student Teachers completing an action research project. They will design and conduct action research projects to better understand
and improve teacher behaviors, learning outcomes, schools, curriculum, professional practice, and the democratic principles of education.

B.ED Project Proposal Early supervision stage

In initial meetings, the supervisor should help Student Teachers identify research
project aims. These meetings should also focus on the demands of the proposed
research topic and the feasibility of the research topics and approach. (Early identification of potential areas of concern can often prevent major problems at a later stage.).
