Comparative Study of HR Practices in Pepsi Cola and Cola Cola
As per various study it has been reported that HR practices are positively correlated with organizational and employee satisfaction. HRM and other management practices have been changed dramatically in last four decades due to globalization, privatization and technology advances. In short we can say that HRM practices popularly known as HR practices on organizational performance and employee’s satisfaction. Hence this study has also been conducted over the both companies named Pepsi Cola and Coca Cola.
Data was collect from both companies employees from lower level to middle level through structured questionnaires and these questionnaires were related to HR practices. A convenience sampling technique was used to gather the data from the employees. After collection of data, it was further proceed and analyze on excel sheet for analysis and interpretation purpose.
Study of HR Practices
There are number of HR practices that could be tested in connection with employee performance. Teseema & Soeters (2006) have studied eight HR practices and their relationship with perceived employee performance. These eight practices include recruitment and selection practices, placement practices, training practices, compensation practices, employee performance evaluation practices, promotion practices, grievance procedure and pension or social security.
As we know that motivation can have an effect on the output of business and concerns both quantity and quality. Organizations will understand the importance of Employee motivation. After the completion of the project organizations will be in the position to understand the importance, and value of the Motivation while making their HR Strategies. They will be able to hire effective/motivated and devoted workforce. Due to effective workforce they will achieve their objective with efficiency and effectiveness. By this the organization will run successfully and will become able to meet the challenges of the modern world.
HR Practices and its Factors
The project aim was to examine the HR practices of Pepsi Coal and Pepsi cola Company and then compare the employee’s perception regarding to both company HR practices each others. As you have seen, for the sake of achieving these objectives, I have used Mean test technique to measures the employee’s response against the study questionnaires. Data was collect from the employees from lower to middle level in hard copy form and then it was proceed on excel sheet for analysis and comparison purpose. Data was present in tabulation and graph form for better understanding for the readers. The outcomes of this analysis are true, as I have used Mean test analysis to find out the true result.
To Study the HR Practices of Pepsi Cola and Coca Cola
The table # 1.1 is presenting employees response of Mega Enterprises Company. Here you can see that I have measured the employee’s response to each HR practices of mentioned company and employee’s satisfaction level and dissatisfaction level. Each mean value is presenting the respondents response with HR practices of mentioned company. Through these analysis questionnaires responses have been measured and it was interpreted with the reason of choosing specific option of the questionnaires. Hence this table is presenting the employees response regarding to Pepsi Cola HR practices.
